With Summer just around the corner which also brings sun, sand and dried out locks. I highlight my hair and although it is a pricey expense-taking care of it makes it worth it in the long run. Below are some awesome products, some are oldies but goodies and other are new that have worked wonders on my golden tresses.
This is one of my most expensive purchases for my hair, but it lasts a long time and truly makes a huge impact on your hair! I use it once a week and let my hair drink up the hydration and moisture. This product is made of the best ingredients and has a thick consistency that distributes evenly throughout the hair!
One of my favorite You Tubers recommended this product and I am so glad I picked this up. It is a conditioner, unlike a purple shampoo but makes a getting your hair back to salon blonde in one use! This nourishing conditioner, repairs, adds shine, and leaves hair brass free. Is is free of ammonia, peroxide, sulfates and parabans and softens your locks without any weight. You can use this daily but I only use it 2 or three times a week.
What I love most about this shampoo that is for color treated hair is how it makes your hair shine after using. It eco friendly and makes sure to keep your color intact, while gently cleansing but not stripping the hair. It has an amazing smell and love this line more and more. This is a great gentle shampoo for allcolor treated hair types!
This is one of my favorite sprays I use once out of the shower. It’s helps to detangle, restore moisture and provide protection against heat styling. It has a teas tree oil in it that stimulates and soothes the scalp and overall a wonderful product!
I first purchased this when I read the reason it won for Allure 2015 Best of Beauty award. This scrub has thick grains that once rubbed together with water turn into a lather. This scrub helps to rebalance, soothe and help detox the scalp from impurities. It is amazing product and recommend to everyone!
Although it is necessary to find a good hair oil to help keep split ends at bay and your tresses healthy, I think it is a personal preference depending on your hair type. However, a few of my favorites include: Oribe Gold Lust Nourishing Hair Oil, Number 4™ Fluoro5 Elixer Restore & Repair Oil, and Bumble and Bumble’s Hair Dressers Oil. These are great light weight oils that add shine and strength to your hair.
One final good habit that is not only helpful for blondes, but for everyone is to get hair trims every 6-8 weeks- especially for those trying to grow out their hair. It will keep it healthy and split ends will be less likely to become a serious problem.
